In keeping with my article “A call for a clean Guyana (It is time for us to express our love for Guyana like never before!)” posted on Friday, May 29, 2015, I am very happy to see "Captain Clean" (Guyana's Super Hero) and the hard work he doing in order for all Guyanese to become “Cleanites.” This is a great illustration of one’s love for Guyana. A call for the singing of OUR national songs throughout Guyana & around the world!

I would like for our national songs to be sung everywhere in Guyana & where ever Guyanese are around the world. It is time to regain and have patriotism like never before. I encourage Guyanese everywhere throughout Guyana & the Diaspora to sing the National Anthem and the national songs of Guyana (which are all wonderful songs) on a frequent and consistent basis.

It is time for us to express our love for Guyana like never before!

In fact, do your own National song video which I would be more than happy to share with Guyanese in Guyana and around the world.

A call for a clean Guyana (It is time for us to express our love for Guyana like never before!)

Persons have noted that aspects of the capital city, Georgetown, have been cleaned. This is a good sign. It is time for Georgetown to return to its former glory, i.e. the Garden City.

Inclusive of Georgetown I am calling for a clean Guyana. Every person must do their part to achieve this. The city council needs to ensure that more bins are available, and we have to ensure that we use the bins. We need to promote the concept of a clean environment in our homes, schools, businesses, places of worship, and everywhere in Guyana.

Let us work together with each person doing their part to increase a clean environment awareness that will result in a clean environment mentality that will ultimately result in the maintenance of a clean Guyana.

It is time for us to express our love for Guyana like never before!

Happy 49th Independence to all Guyanese!

Our dear land of Guyana is celebrating 49 years of Independence. For this we give God thanks. Moreover, it is a new season for Guyana, so let us all work together for the development of Guyana. Happy Independence!

A call for frequent & consistent singing of OUR national songs in our schools

I would like for our national songs to be sung in ALL our schools again. It is time to regain and have a patriotism like never before. I encourage the heads of schools and teachers to encourage the singing of OUR national songs especially in our primary and nursery schools on a frequent and consistent basis.

You’re an encouragement to me that helps me to be strong

Very warm and loving, motivating and firm

 

You’re a strong woman, many burdens have you beared

Only you and God knows how much have you faced

 

And often times I have not been there with you as I should

Present circumstances also make it so difficult

 

But Jesus our Saviour, who continues to keep you

Has prepared you for the great things He is about to show you

 

You are GREAT WOMAN, mother and wife of my children

A true servant of God, and dedicated to His mission

 

You’re an inspiration to me and to many others,

An example to follow, you’re a true role model

 

I am blessed to have you, my dear, sweet wife Ernella

Indeed, without a doubt, I couldn’t ask God for better.
