Happy International Women’s Day

To all the women around the world (including the highly blessed and wonderful Guyanese women), I wish you a Happy International Women’s Day. It is a fact that you (who have been made in God’s image and likeness) are priceless, and you deserve to be acknowledged EVERY DAY for the many things you do for others including the sacrifices you make. I especially acknowledge my daughter, mom, grandmother, biological and non-biological sisters, aunts, nieces, God-daughter,  clergy, former and present church members, batchmates, classmates, schoolmates, and friends. The foregoing list also acknowledges girls who will someday be women.

Finally I acknowledge my wife who is my Queen, my better half, my lover, my counselor, my adviser, my biggest supporter …(the list goes on)… and my best friend. I pray that God help me to cherish you and I pray that God help all boys and men to cherish the girls and women in their lives.
